Roles and Responsibilities

• Strong experience in JAVA 8+, microservices architecture, REST using web frameworks like SpringBoot, etc.
• Strong experience in developing modern, responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue.js, TypeScript or equivalent.
• Expertise in designing, developing and/or re-engineering application components, and integrating software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
• Expertise in API design, utilising OpenAPI Standard 3.x, to create efficient and secure APIs with OAuth 2.0/OpenID authentication.
• Strong knowledge of software tools like Junit, Mockito, Jest, Mocha and SonarQube and Databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, unit tests, integration tests, selenium-based tests.
• Experience with cloud-hosting solutions and CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, etc.
• Understanding of/experience with AWS.
• Comfortable multi-tasking as well as working independently and taking ownership.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate with 3+ years experience in delivering Frontend and Backend development (Post-Graduate will be an added advantage).
• Fintech product and BFSI domain experience.
• Familiarity with UI Framework (Angular JS Preferred).
• Great planning and organisational skills, good time management, with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload and to deal with urgent deadlines and changes to requirements.
• Close teamworking and collaboration across the team.
• A passion for creative solutions to real user needs and business problems.
• Logical approach to problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements

• You have a strong software engineering background with full stack experience
• You have strong technical skills with technologies such as MERN/MEAN/PERN/PEAN
• You have experience working with micro-services and distributed systems architecture
• You have a strong knowledge of software development best practices, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, test automation tools
• You are proficient with front/back-end partitioning of apps and RESTful APIs
• You have experience in Cloud Technologies ideally AWS however GCP or Azure is also great!
• You have knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or related deployment and container technologies

Roles and Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable architectures on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Gateway, and Lambda.
• Experience with DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and configuration management.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana).
• Scripting capability and the ability to develop AWS EAC (environments as code).
• Familiar with Automation/IAC (Infrastructure As Code) Solutions- CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, etc.
• You will work closely with software development teams to provide guidance and best practices for designing and deploying applications on AWS, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• You will design and implement backup, recovery, and failover strategies to ensure high availability and business continuity in the event of failures or disasters.
• You will continuously learn about new AWS services and industry best practices, and apply them to improve the overall architecture, performance, and security of AWS solutions.
• Ability to develop Enterprise Security Governance framework, Security Policy, Standard and Control development SABSA/TOGAF.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge in designing, implementing, and managing DevSecOps capabilities in cloud offerings using CI/CD toolsets and automation.
• Knowledge in implementing, and managing monitoring and logging toolsets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks and the requirements underlying each, including ISO, SOX, PCI, FedRAMP, and HIPAA.
• Certifications in AWS Security, and Solutions Architecture.
